7 reasons to exercise in the open air!

2022. 09. 05. 09:05:00 Veress Máté - HillVital

As soon as the good weather arrives, it's no longer worth exercising in the gym or indoors, as the fresh air has a number of physiological benefits that are more beneficial when you're exercising.

Here are 7 reasons why it's much better to move outdoors.

You will be more energetic!

Fresh air invigorates the body and increases oxygenation of the brain. And even muscle fatigue will be relieved if you spend your workout outside.

No need to pay for it!

You don't have to pay for a gym membership from spring to early autumn. Plus, you'll burn more calories a day by exercising outside during the summer months. It's worth getting 30 minutes of exercise a day.

You'll be more creative!

If you're under a lot of stress, it's always a good idea to get some fresh air. Nature calms the nervous system and you'll be more creative. A short run or walk can be enough.

You'll feel better!

Several studies have already shown that people who exercise outdoors are happier and more optimistic. For that reason alone, it's worth getting out in the fresh air.

Can be a great programme with friends

It's worth getting friends or family together for a walk or exercise in the fresh air. It's good for everyone, you can even chat after or during your workout.

More calories to burn!

Natural and varied environments are more unpredictable, so you can burn more calories. In parks, forests or valleys, it's worth running or walking. However, you may burn more fat than on a treadmill.

You don't have to keep looking in the mirror for change!

According to research, people who constantly exercise in front of a mirror may become depressed sooner because they are constantly preoccupied with how they look. This is not true for everyone, of course.
