Everyone knows that regular exercise has a great effect on the whole body. However, the question is: should people with established heart disease exercise? The answer is yes, which means you can exercise, but it doesn't matter how.

It is also important that this is possible if you do not have a serious heart problem. If it is severe, you should definitely avoid sports.

Regular exercise has been shown to make a major contribution to the worsening of mild cardiovascular disease. It also helps prevention and faster recovery. One study also found that people who had already had a heart attack and then started to exercise regularly were much less likely to have a second heart attack. Just 30 minutes of exercise a day can be enough. If you are at risk of physical activity, you should only start moving under medical supervision.

Before you start exercising with heart disease, you should always have your heart condition checked first. This is necessary to see how it will cope with the stress. The doctor will usually ask for a stress test. Such a test involves exercise on an exercise bike and treadmill, while the heart's function is recorded by ECG. After the test, the doctor will get a value to analyse to see how the heart is doing and how much stress it can take. Therefore, a gradual exercise plan should only be used. This will determine what kind of exercise, at what intensity, at what heart rate and for how long.

Sports for heart problems can be done under the supervision of a doctor, but this has already been mentioned. This does not mean that you have to go to the doctor every day, but that you have to go for check-ups at the intervals specified by your doctor. So all in all, before you start exercising, you should see a specialist.
