Skin lesions caused by vasodilatation

2022. 07. 18. 13:18:00 Veress Máté - HillVital

It's worth knowing first of all that massage can cause temporary vasodilatation, as can fever and some heat effects, but these will disappear on their own within a short time. However, there are permanent vasodilatations which can be primary or secondary, which can be a symptom of a disease. Here is a list of the most common vasodilatation problems!

Broomstick vein

This is not yet considered a disease, it usually occurs with varicose veins in the thigh in most cases. It is a branching lesion of small blue-coloured veins. Hereditary factors may also play a role in its development. It can be treated with herbal balms which can be very effective. But it is also removed by ozone treatment or injection. We prefer natural solutions. You can also prevent it by exercising regularly.

Rosacea

This problem usually affects both sexes. It usually appears on the face between the ages of 30-60. The skin becomes very red at first, then fades and later the capillaries dilate. Nodules may also develop on the face and nose. Depending on the stage, different treatment may be needed. Symptoms may be aggravated by alcohol, coffee or strong spices.

Spider's web

This is also a very common vasodilatation. It is very common on the face, torso and arms. They are slightly prominent red dots made up of small branched veins. If you press on the centre they fade away. A spider's wart can also be a symptom of liver disease.

Fire spot

A bluish red or even bright red spot that is flat and visible at birth. It is a developmental abnormality. It fades only very slightly with age. In many cases, it can appear on the roots of the nose, around the eyes and on the back of the head. In most cases it is removed by laser.

Ruby Nose

This can develop with advancing age. It is mainly located on the upper part of the trunk and is a hemispherical dark red vasodilatation a few millimetres in diameter. It is usually harmless and can be easily removed, even by laser.

Vasodilatation by sunlight

This can be common on the chest, neck and face. It can be caused by certain substances such as perfume or tar. These cause inflammation and vasodilatation of the skin when exposed to sunlight. It is prevented by sun protection and avoidance of harmful substances.
